The town of Valdieri extends to the south- west in the Gesso valley. It is located in the heart of the Park of Maritime Alps, one of the largest natural Parks in Italy. The Maritime Alps are a mountain range in the south-western part of the Alps. They form the border between the French département Alpes-Maritimes and the Italian province of Cuneo.

Each season offers a chance to visit the valley: late spring and summer are period of vacation trips to the discovery of the Natural Park and to practise many sports such as mountain climbing, mountaineering, canoeing and horse riding. In autumn nature provides a crystalline sky, extraordinary colors, season fruits (chestnuts, mushrooms ...) In Valdieri you can practice skiing and other winter sports. For a different skiing you can reach Entracque slopes in a few minutes, whereas Limone Piemonte - one of the most popular winter ski resorts in the Alpine area - is just 27 Km away.

The Valdieri Spa is located in the high Gesso valley, a mt. 1368 above the sea level, in the Natural Park of the Alpi Marittime”.
